As I am embarking on a new consulting project, in addition to a new marketing plan to help grow his business, my new client is looking for some ideas on what to do for the holidays. As everyone who works with vendors knows, vendors send out gift baskets for the holidays. Some are memorable and some are not. Some take the time to think about what is suitable for your office and others just order a pre-made basket and send along with a typed out card. Which do you remember?
Well, I want my client to have one of those holiday gifts that really sticks with their clients. Not something pre-made with no branding on it, nor do I want a basket full of branded items that no one is going to use; like chip clips and coffee mugs. So I’m reaching out to all of you to see if you have any out-of-the-box ideas that would make a great addition to a holiday gift basket and a lasting impression throughout the year.
Please send me any ideas of things that either you have gotten from a vendor that made an lasting impression on you, or maybe something that your company has done that was well received by your clients.
